Our Doctors
Dr. Danielle Frigault
Optometrist
Originally from New Brunswick, Dr. Danielle Frigault studied biochemistry at the University of Moncton and received her doctorate in optometry at the University of Montreal. She has been practicing in the Rockland and Ottawa region for over 20 years.
Dr. Frigault is particularly interested in ocular health and the diagnosis of diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and retinal anomalies. She works in close collaboration with local ophthalmologists and physicians to co-manage patients. She has extensive experience in the adaptation of contact lenses for patients of all ages, from young athletes to active seniors, and in the management of refractive laser surgeries. ​Her patients appreciate her professionalism, her precision, and her warm acadian personality.
In her free time, Danielle enjoys travelling, being outdoors, and spending time with her spouse Andrew and their two children.
Dr. Michelle Thibodeau
Optometrist
Dr. Thibodeau spent her early years in Sudbury after which her family moved to Windsor, ON. She studied Chemistry at the University of Windsor before continuing on to Optometry School at the University of Waterloo where she graduated with an award in glaucoma management.

Dr. Thibodeau has been practicing in Ottawa since 2019 and has interests in specialty contact lenses, ocular disease management and ​myopia management. She is experienced in providing exams to those of all ages, from young infants to thriving seniors.
​
Outside of work Dr. Thibodeau is very busy keeping up with her husband and two children. If they aren't running around to activities you can typically find their family exploring local parks and hiking in nature.
